Ontario AG says COVID-19 revealed a ‘history of issues not being addressed in timely way’ in province’s long-term care sector

Ontario auditor general Bonnie Lysyk spoke about her latest report on long-term care homes on Wednesday, saying “what we have here is a history of issues not being addressed in a timely way,” including that the long-term care sector and province did not learn from the lessons of SARS.
