Bangkok closes parks and gyms, introduces fine for not wearing mask in public amid 3rd COVID-19 wave

Bangkok, Thailand closed multiple public venues and sports premises on Monday as authorities tried to curb an alarming third wave of COVID-19 infections. A 20,000 baht (USD $635) fine for not wearing a mask in public was also introduced.
