India hit a new record globally for daily COVID-19 cases, with 346,786 new cases reported in a single day and the capital recording the equivalent of one death from COVID-19 every five minutes. It comes as hospitals are overwhelmed, with queues forming outside of people trying to get in for help, and families claiming their loved ones infected with COVID-19 died due to a lack of oxygen.
