China’s foreign ministry criticized the U.K. parliament on Saturday after the latter had backed a non-binding motion stating Uighurs in Xinjiang were suffering crimes against humanity and genocide, with spokesman Zhao Lijian saying any notion that a genocide exists was a “monstrous lie spread by international anti-China forces.”
