B.C. government says fines of $575 will be issued to anyone found in contravention of new travel ban

We knew it was coming and tonight it’s official–a travel ban aimed at reducing the transmission of COVID-19 is now in effect in B.C. The province’s minster of public safety provided more details on the new restrictions surrounding non-essential travel and how the province plans to enforce it. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
