Testifying before the Standing Committee on the Status of Women on Thursday, Maj. Kellie Brennan said Gen. Jonathan Vance, the former chief of the defence staff, directed her on “what to say, what not to say, how to say it, what to exclude, to purge myself and to lie.” She also said that Vance told her there would be “consequences” if she did not follow his directions.
