After a year of operating on and off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Global News has confirmed the only dedicated queer bar in Halifax, Menz and Mollyz, has been sold. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, members of the queer and drag communities are heartbroken by the loss, and say it highlights the need for more safe, queer spaces for adults.
