Just hours before the verdict was read in the Derek Chauvin trial, a Black teenager in Columbus, Ohio was shot and killed by police responding to a call of a person with a knife. In body cam video released by police, a girl can be seen charging at another girl while holding a knife. The matter is now in the hands of the bureau of criminal investigation. The police chief says the officer is being put on administrative leave.
