On Thursday, Conservative MPs John Brassard and Gérard Deltell criticized the recently-passed motion by the Liberals and Bloc Québécois (BQ) to end the probe by the standing committee on national defence. Brassard asked if Prime Minister Justin Trudeau does not see shutting the committee is “adding to a culture of fear” for women in the military. Deltell added “complicity” by the BQ helped in shutting down the probe.
