Conservative MP questions dropping COVID-19 screening for travellers from Brazil, citing report

Referring to a report that Ottawa had dropped specific COVID-19 screening for travellers from Brazil, where the P.1. variant was first detected, despite the variant spreading through B.C., Conservative health critic Michelle Rempel Garner questioned why this was done. Health Minister Patty Hajdu defended Canada’s border measures, saying the country has some of the strongest measures in the world.
