Health Canada chief medical adviser Dr. Supriya Sharma said Wednesday that they were monitoring the pause of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine in the U.S. and had requested information on any potential cases of rare blood clots from the company. She added they were working with international partners to examine the cases and would take action if necessary.
