White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeffrey Zients said on Wednesday that the United States’ current seven-day COVID-19 vaccine average is 3.3 million vaccinations per day. Zients said they expect “some impact” on daily averages as vaccination sites and appointments transition to Pfizer or Moderna shots, after U.S. health regulators recommended pausing use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
