Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Monday that Air Canada and all other airlines would be eligible for a “voucher refund facility”, or a loan to help airlines refund customers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. She said Air Canada would receive an additional $1.4 billion loan for this purpose, on top of the relief package announced on Monday.
