U.S. President Joe Biden called for “peace and calm” on Monday following the officer-involved shooting of Daunte Wright, a Black man who died following a traffic stop Sunday in Brooklyn Center, Minn. He said the results of an investigation would determine whether the shooting was accidental, but added, “there is absolutely no justification for looting.”
