Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said Monday that officials will need another week of data before they can determine the impact of the Easter weekend on COVID-19 case numbers, but said there appears to be less of a delay between the rise in cases and the increase in hospitalizations with the variants of concern.
