White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that the Biden administration is “incredibly saddened” by the police shooting of Daunte Wright, a Black man, in Minnesota on Sunday. She added Wright’s death is “a reminder of the pain, the anger, the trauma, the exhaustion that many communities across the country have felt,” especially in the wake of George Floyd’s death just under a year ago.
