New Brunswick’s top doctor says some hospitalized with COVID-19 were previously given vaccine

New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell said Saturday that there are some cases of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 that had previously been given at least one shot of the vaccine, but said it does protect against “severe outcomes.”
