Over the past three months, a local women and children’s housing charity has spent $50,000 on hotel rooms. It’s not an expense Adsum House has funded before, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, safe shelter space is hard to come by and its executive director says they can’t turn anyone away who is struggling during these challenging times.
