Sajjan says he had ‘a number of conversations’ with former chief of staff on Vance allegation

Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan said on Tuesday he had “a number of conversations” with his former chief of staff, Zita Astravas, following a 2018 allegation brought to his attention about Gen. Jonathan Vance. In a previous committee meeting, Sajjan had testified that he never followed up on the allegation, suggesting doing so would amount to “political interference.”
