Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan said on Tuesday he had “a number of conversations” with his former chief of staff, Zita Astravas, following a 2018 allegation brought to his attention about Gen. Jonathan Vance. In a previous committee meeting, Sajjan had testified that he never followed up on the allegation, suggesting doing so would amount to “political interference.”
