The state of downtown spaces at a time when physical distancing is much needed was top of mind for a lot of people last year. And some changes took effect during the summer, like extended sidewalk spaces facilitated by white bollards, separating pedestrians, cyclists and patio goers from traffic. The pandemic is still continuing, and it looks like those measures are going to return for another year, though things will look a little different.
Town Ward councilor Kemi Akapo spoke with Global News Morning Peterborough anchor Noor Ibrahim about the issue.
