Speaking on Thursday about the transformative infrastructure bill announced by U.S. President Joe Biden, Press Secretary Jen Psaki differentiated it from the American Rescue Plan, which she said had to be passed “as quickly as possible.” Psaki said there is “time to work and have discussions” with Democrats and Republicans, but that the president hopes to have it passed by the summer.
