New Brunswick’s social development minister says while housing is typically a joint federal-provincial responsibility, he’s pleased to see some municipalities supporting local projects. But Moncton’s mayor says she’s heard concerns from other municipalities after the city contributed 6-million dollars to support Rising Tide, an affordable housing entity promising to house about 160 people over three years.
