Dr. Joss Reimer, head of Manitoba’s vaccine implementation task force, said on Monday that “out of an abundance of caution,” the province is recommending the use of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine for those 55 and over, effective immediately. The move is in line with an expected change in recommendations from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI).
