After controversy, N.S. environmental advocates give mixed review to new budget

Nova Scotia tabled its first pandemic budget on Thursday with a projected deficit $585-million dollars. Despite figures in the red, Premier Iain Rankin has committed to spending more than $80 million on green initiatives in the next year. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, environmental advocates are giving mixed reviews to the document, which invests in both climate-friendly programs and fossil fuel initiatives.
