Health Canada’s Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Supriya Sharma said on Thursday that the benefits of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine “continue to clearly outweigh its potential risks” following a product label change that adds a warning about blood clots. “My best advice to Canadians is to get whichever vaccine is available to you,” she said.
