“It’s certainly higher in the last year,” Theft of parcels is on the rise as more people shop online and have packages delivered to their homes

They are called porch pirates–people who steal parcels delivered to front doors of homes. And these days, there is no shortage of them as more people shop online. Theft of parcels is on the rise in the Okanagan and across the country but RCMP say there are ways to protect yourself. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
