Megan Rapinoe, who led the U.S. women’s soccer team to a World Cup championship in 2019, said Wednesday during an event alongside President Joe Biden marking Equal Pay Day, that she’s been “devalued” as well as “disrespected and dismissed” because she’s been paid less than her counterparts on the U.S. men’s soccer team.
