Suspect in Atlanta spa shootings was heading to Florida for possibly more attacks, mayor says

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said on Wednesday that police stated the suspect involved in shootings at three massage parlors that left eight people dead, many of the victims women of Asian descent, was heading to Florida, “perhaps to carry out additional shootings.” She added that “it really speaks to the coordination and the quick response from law enforcement.”
