Myanmar protesters try to douse tear gas as police open fire

Chaos erupted in the town of Hpakant in northeastern Myanmar on Sunday as protesters splashed water to dilute tear gas smoke as they faced off with armed police. At least five people were killed in different violent confrontations between protesters and police on Sunday.
