The federal government is investing $400 million over five years in active transportation infrastructure for communities across the country. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, it’s unclear much of that money will come to Nova Scotia, but Halifax Mayor Mike Savage hopes it will fund “next generation” cycling, walking and running projects that go beyond the municipality’s imagination.
