Canadian military names first woman to vice chief of the defence staff

Lt.-Gen. Frances Allen has been appointed the vice chief of the defence staff in the Canadian Armed Forces. She is the first woman to become the military’s second-in-command. As Mike Le Couteur reports, Allen takes on the role amid a crisis, as two military leaders are investigated for sexual misconduct.
