George Floyd death: Protesters gather in Minneapolis ahead of Derek Chauvin trial

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside of a Minneapolis court on Monday ahead of the trial for Derek Chauvin, the former police officer accused of killing George Floyd. Jury selection for Chauvin’s trial was set to begin on Monday, but was delayed until at least Tuesday morning as the judge contended with a last-minute order by a higher court to reconsider adding an additional murder charge.
