Judge Peter Cahill of the Hennepin Country district court ruled Monday that jury selection would be delayed at least one day as the court contends with a last-minute order by a higher court to reconsider adding an additional murder charge against Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd.
