Dr. Supriya Sharma, Health Canada’s chief medical adviser, announced on Friday the approval of Johnson & Johnson’s single-shot COVID-19 vaccine, which is the fourth vaccine to be approved for use in Canada after Pfizer’s, Moderna’s and AstraZeneca / Serum Institute of India.
