Like many non-profit organizations, the YWCA Peterborough Haliburton relied on public events for its major fundraising campaigns-one of those is the Empty Bowls campaign. Before the pandemic the annual lunch event drew crowds from around the community as the organization paired with the Kawartha Potters Guild and local restaurants to offer up a delicious meal for a good cause. This year the event is going virtual. YWCA executive director Kim Dolan spoke with Katrina Squazzin about what the event is going to look like online.
