Whiteout conditions on Hwy. 7 lead to collisions in City of Kawartha Lakes

Heavy whiteout conditions are being blamed for separate collisions on Hwy. 7 east of Peterborough on Monday afternoon.

Around 3:30 p.m., emergency crews responding to reports of two crashes on the highway.
One was at the intersection at Emily Park Road where at least one person was taken to hospital.

Another crash was near Acrevale Road involving two cars and a cube van. No injuries were reported in that crash.
