Following a meeting with his American counterpart, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau on Friday said although Prime Minister Justin Trudeau brought up the matter of the two detained Canadians in China, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, to President Joe Biden, he discussed the issue with Blinken again. Though the pair discussed “the two Michaels,” Garneau said he couldn’t provide details on what was said.
