B.C. Court of Appeal rules on lawsuit over snow clearing

Many municipalities have bylaws about clearing away snow from sidewalks. Residents face fines if they don’t shovel the snow in a timely manner. But that will likely be your only legal recourse if you slip and fall on someone’s uncleared sidewalk, now that two courts have ruled on the matter. Paul Johnson explains.
