Transport minister says he accepts auditor general findings, will continue to improve rail safety

Canada’s Transportation Minister Omar Alghabra on Thursday responded to an auditor general report that found that rail safety hadn’t been fully addressed from a 2013 report. Alghabra accepted the AGs findings and said his department will continue to look at ways of improving rail safety, while providing examples of how the department has progressed.
