Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe announced on Tuesday that the provincial government is committing $15 million in funding to support a new centre for pandemic research at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO) in Saskatoon. “This will not only serve Saskatchewan residents but it will support all Canadians through research, development and ultimately the production of new vaccines,” he said.
