What Peterborough’s Mayor hopes for as the region reopens

It’s been almost a year since the municipality was confronted with the COVID 19 pandemic. The subsequent lockdowns have led to job losses and business closures. For Peterborough, it’s also led to a multi-million dollar deficit. Mayor Diane Therrien spoke with Global News Morning Peterborough anchor Lindsay Biscaia about the state of city finances, and what she’s hoping for as the region reopens.
