United Airlines plane engine failure showed signs of metal fatigue, NTSB says

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said on Monday that the engine on the Boeing 777 United flight that caught fire and failed in midair, causing debris to fall to the ground in Denver, Colorado, was showing signs of metal fatigue.
