Soccer fields across the Peterborough region appeared much emptier last spring and summer since leagues were cancelled due to COVID.
The normal start of the soccer season is just a few months away.
One local club says they’re hopeful the sport will return to Peterborough this year and that preparations are already underway for the upcoming season.
