There are currently about 10,000 kids in BC with type 1 diabetes, and many of those families can’t afford the cost of a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). Ledcor Group has announced a Canada-wide donation of $1.25 million to support CGM’s. Katherine Coutinho, Ledcor Groups Senior Director of Corporate Communications joins us to discuss how a portion of this donation will allow Variety BC to help kids with type 1 diabetes who are in need of these life-changing devices.
