A poll conducted by Ipsos exclusively for Global News shows that just over 50 per cent of Canadians surveyed think systemic racism is built into the country’s institutions, encompassing the economy, government and educational system. The polling also shows a minority of Canadians, 46 per cent, believe public education does a good job of teaching Black history in schools.
