During the fifth day of former U.S. president Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial on Saturday, the Senate burst out in laughter as one of Trump’s lawyers, Michael van der Veen, suggested they’d need Vice-President Kamala Harris’ deposition if witnesses are called, and depositions would have to happen “in person in his office in Philadelphia.”
