Former Peterborough Pete Steven Lorentz was recently named by fans as the best player in the organization’s history to wear number 16.
Lorentz racked up 164 regular season points, including 75 goals, during his four seasons with the Maroon and White.
Despite that impressive stat line, Lorentz has always been a bit of an underdog.
He wasn’t a high draft pick in the OHL or NHL. He worked hard for everything in his hockey career and made the most of every opportunity.
That hard work is now paying off.
