Coronavirus: Procurement minister continues to defend Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine roll-out despite supply chain hiccups

Mercedes Stephenson sits down with Minister of Public Service and Procurement Anita Anand who says even with the COVID-19 vaccine supply chain disruptions, deliveries are “ramping back up.” When asked why Canada is not disclosing details on vaccine procurement she says “we are actually the only jurisdiction releasing full-fledged delivery schedules” and “that is transparency.” Conservative health critic, Michelle Rempel Garner, says the Liberal government needs a plan B because Canada “shouldn’t be this far behind.”
