Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin, Canada’s lead of vaccine logistics said Thursday that Canada will see a “significant increase in vaccine supply” during stage 2 of the rollout from April to June. To date, Canada has distributed 1,185,000 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines thus far, with 79,000 to be added this week along with another 70,000 next week Fortin said. Fortin also said they received 180,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine, which is a three-week shipment, on Thursday morning.
