Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced on Monday the expansion of the targeted asymptomatic testing program to include wider areas with school and childcare settings experiencing outbreaks, high case counts or are in high-priority communities. The first phase of the program was focused on coronavirus hotspot zones like Peel, Toronto, Ottawa and York regions.
